How it works

UK residents who need a Schengen visa usually apply through the visa centre of the destination country in London. In busy months appointment slots are scarce: they appear at unpredictable times, often in small numbers, and are gone within minutes. Many applicants spend days refreshing the booking page, and some miss their travel dates because no slot came up when they were looking.

Schengen Slot Alert watches the booking calendars for you. When slots open for the country and visa type you chose, you get an alert straight away, with a link to the booking page. You book yourself, with your own account — we never ask for your password.

You start by choosing the destination country and the visa type: tourism, business, visiting family or friends. You choose how to be alerted — email, text message or Telegram — and the dates you can travel to London for the appointment. You can follow several countries at once if your trip covers more than one.

When an alert arrives, speed matters. The checklist in the service tells you what to prepare in advance: your account on the visa centre's booking site, the application form filled in, passport details for each traveller and the payment card for the fee. With everything ready, booking takes a few minutes.

Over time the service shows when slots tend to open for each country: the days of the week and the times of day. Knowing that a certain country often releases slots early in the morning helps you be ready at the right time.

You can pause the alert when you have booked and reactivate it for your next trip. If you need to change an appointment, the alert can watch for earlier slots too.

The service is for people who live in the UK and apply in London. It does not book appointments, does not guarantee availability and does not speed up visa decisions. It tells you when slots appear so you can act quickly.

Many applicants also use the alert for family members: one account can follow appointments for several people travelling together.

A typical case looks like this. You plan a trip for the summer and set the alert in spring. For a few days nothing comes up; then one morning a text arrives while you are having breakfast. You open the booking page from the link, log in, choose the time that suits you and pay the fee. The alert has done its job, and you pause it until your next trip.

We are not a visa centre, an embassy or a government body and do not act on your behalf. We do not ask for or store your booking account password.
